While Huntington State Park is not technically in Pawleys Island, its minutes from the causeway and island and a great destination to be close to Hammock Shops, dining, and other adventures while staying at the campground! Staying on the nearby Pawleys Island, is what I most look forward to each year for a destress week!

This is located 45 minutes from Myrtle Beach and a short drive from other small South Carolina towns with plenty of delicious seafood and miles of gorgeous beaches and tons of charm.   Pawleys Island, South Carolina is one of my favorite vacation spots on the East Coast to relax and unwind with the most breathtaking views and sunsets. Pawleys Island is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway, a week-long trip to unwind, or a day trip if you are within driving distance.  Pawleys Island South Carolina is a great place to visit to soak in the slow pace of the Southern United States. If you are looking for a South Carolina campground this is the destination for you!

Pawleys Island is a local favorite and destination for visitors from all over, but the consensus is that you will fall in love with the small towns, slow vibes no matter what time of year you visit. Driving into Pawleys Island and crossing the causeway, I can feel the stress melting from my shoulders.
