Servings: 16 Rice Krispies
Santa krispie Treat recipe Simple Ingredients:
16 Rice Krispies, unwrapped (or make your own with the rice krispie cereal mixture but if you are short on time like me grab a few packages at the grocery store premade so its a no bake yummy treat!)
½ c red candy melts
½ c white chocolate chips or candy melts
¼ c shredded coconut
½ c mini marshmallows / I just grab a bag or two of marshmallows vs cups marshmallows
¼ c red sanding sugar
1 T. red cinnamon candies or M&M’s (about 16)
¼ c candy eyes (about 32)

Santa Hat Rice Krispie Treats Directions:
Line your work space with parchment or wax paper.
Unwrap the rice crispy treats and lay out on your work surface.
Melt the white candy melts in a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 15-30 second increments and stir well between each interval until smooth.
Dip the bottom ¼-⅓ of each rice krispie in the white melted chocolate. Scrape the excess back into the bowl and set back on the parchment.
Immediately sprinkle some shredded coconut over the white to create the beard. Allow to set.
6. Transfer the remaining melted white chocolate to a piping bag or ziploc, set aside until needed for these Christmas rice krispies treats.
7. Melt the red candy melts in a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 15-30 second increments and stir well between each interval until smooth.
8. Dip the top ¼-⅓ of each rice Krispie in the red candy melts. Scrape the excess back into the bowl and set back on the parchment.
9. Place your mini marshmallows along the edge of the red line to create the fur of the hat. Then sprinkle with a pinch (or more) of the red sanding sugar to create the easy Christmas hat.
10. Cut a small hole in the end of the white chocolate piping bag (you can always cut it bigger if needed but start smaller than you think).
11. Pipe a small dot on each eye ball candy and set into place on each rice krispie perfect treat.
12. Finally pipe a small dot on a red candy and place the nose onto the rice krispie.
13. Allow to set for the chocolate to reharden and viola the Santa Hats and this fun dessert is done!
Storage: Store the decorated rice krispies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 weeks. There likely will not be any of this rice krispie treat recipe left, but just incase now you have storage info ready!
